#note Matt made a comment about how I could play 11G PAT(R)ICID(E) if the R was on the J column instead of the K column, so I knew that the D was in the bag. I was considering playing off the P to fish for the phony B8 (J)ADEITIC* (only JADITIC is walid) and playing off the T to fish for 12G EPIC(E)DIA(L). I thought that he would probably see and block (J)ADEITIC* (still not walid), so I discounted that play. I thought it was unlikely that he would see 12G EPIC(E)DIA(L), but the problem with this plan is that his most obvious play seemed to be 12G GRAZ(E)R, which would block it. For this fish to work, I need to play off the T and create some sort of diversion. F7 (DI)T seemed good because I thought 10F ZAG for 67 would be hard to pass up and F7 (DI)T -> 10F ZAG -> 12G EPIC(E)DIA(L) gets me 4 - 67 + 84 + (8) = 29 which was much better and way more entertaining than any other endgame sequence I could find. I missed 10D GAZAR, which would make the sequence slightly worse for me at 4 - 69 + 84 + (4) = 23. Championship Player says M9 PICA is best, with a valuation of -6.7, so if he does play 10F ZAG or 10D GAZAR at least part of the time, I think F7 (DI)T is correct. I'm not marking this as a mistake. I await your hatemail.
