#note I balked at this a bit because of the 1 row lane it opens that will be a bitch to block. Still, FAWNS is way more solid immediately than FAWN or NOWTS, so I went with it. It wins a sim over FAWN by about two points, seems reasonable either way - NSST has its own risk, drawing consonants, that I want to avoid as well.

#note Q prefers HES 4J or (P)EH. They sim about 3 above this. I am totally fine with those plays here, I didn't consider them too strongly but on this board it's worth going for an S bingo, and again the game is still early, so a lower variance play like PENES is far from necessary.

#note a good board to make this kind of play on.

#note big diff. in # of As vs. Es, so this works better than other exchanges

#note rushed this move - I saw the QI spot it made, but discounted it cause you can't play QI for 62, but I didnt realize till after I hit my clock that this set up a QUAD spot. I prob do NAOI C2 instead.

#note OVEN is not bad, or even something like (D)EV with all the Es out. I think (D)EV is fine to keep a bit more scoring pressure on while not opening much. NU was nice to take out some occasional bingo threats while keeping a great flexible leave, but the problem is 10 row plays that open S hooks that I can no longer deal with. NU does great against big board opening plays down the D column, but DEV might do better against the other type of opening.

#note case in point
>Jackson: EEGINRV N1 .EV +14 263
#note maybe CRINGE here to hit the a column myself, avoid occasional big plays there, and ensure I put a bad letter at 15a so that he can't put a better one. DEV would work better if A column plays exposed the lanes better, but since its tucked to the side, EGINR is not anywhere near a guaranteed bingo if he plays there.

>Jackson: EEEGINR 3M E.E +12 275
#note still okay to outrun a lot of bingoes, but it's getting tight...
>Stefan_Fatsis: ?AEIUW 4N AW +26 248
>Jackson: CEGINRR 14A .NERGIC +24 299
#note at least limits bingoes to the 12 and 11 rows - this leaves 7 in the bag, so I have endgame timing if he bingoes immediately, but if I draw the Q that isnt necessarily a guaranteed win, if playin the Q prevents me from doing an out in two. I still dont see an option I like more than this

#note -10 for time for Stefan. I really hate how I played this game, in a way this is one of my least favourite games I played, in terms of the style I brought to the board.
