>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: CDEEOSY 8H DECOY +30 30
#note Need to beat Will by 95 to win the tournament.
>Will_Anderson: EGOOY 7E GOOEY +26 26
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AEFIMRS M6 MISFARE +79 109
#note Well, if it isn't EXACTLY the kind of play I need to make that happen
>Will_Anderson: EH N9 EH +31 57
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ADORSSW O8 SWARD +48 157
#note With inference of no S or D, I definitely need to take this spot first. I didn't consider DOWARS, which seems more or less similar.
>Will_Anderson: EGIU E5 GI.UE +14 71
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ABDIOSU 13G BADIOUS +106 263
#note open collins zyzzyva and do a definition search in CSW24 for "Bird of N America"
>Will_Anderson: ?CEIQ 8A CIrQ.E +80 151
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AEEETUU 11H AUTEU. +12 275
#note EUOUAE never crossed my mind, though obstructing the H12 spot is probably worth the equity sacrifice.
>Will_Anderson: DIV 6D D.VI +32 183
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?EENOOP B5 OPt.ONEE +67 342
>Will_Anderson: AHNTX A11 THANX +68 251

>Will_Anderson: INOW C12 WINO +23 274
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AKLNRST A1 TRANK +36 414
#note Considered TRANK, LARKS burning my S for 8 more, and KANT to take out the HEW? spot. It didn't occur to me that I should possibly be inferring an N after he simultaneously played one while setting one up. Still, taking out the TWS feels safest
>Will_Anderson: ELNT D10 LENT +30 304
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AGLORRS 6J GRO.A +14 428
#note I guess I went a bit off the board with this one. I'm up by 110 and just need to hold this lead. I strongly considered the equity play LARGO but hated opening the TWS to the Z. In the end, I opted to knock out the best bingo lane and set up my case S.
>Will_Anderson: AB C7 A.B +17 321
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: IILRSTZ L4 ZL.T. +36 464
>Will_Anderson: AEELMNT 11D .L +4 325
#note In postmortem we found Will's 2/7 win (S is impossible after GROMA), fishing N for METALIZE/REALTIME. Although this is actually super complicated, since my rack of FJLPRSI would have exactly one play that blocks both bingos H3 PRISED, but that J sticks me, and Will would have just enough points tiling out in the endgame to pull within 97 spread and win the tourney. It would have been a very complex sequence and the I wasn't in the bag anyway, so a moot point.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: FIIJPRS 15G F.IP +9 473
#note On my own part, I very nearly nearly blew this. My tracking was messed up so I fixed it and had his rack on MNRRAEE. I almost did 3A AJI but decided I had 7 minutes and the tourney was on the line, might as well triple-check my tracking. I panicked when I found 5 R's accounted for and redid everything, saving the day with my 23-point suboptimal block (14J FIR).
