#note Did not know MULETA was a word. MULE is 2nd
>Cameron_Siegal: DLOT 12A TOLD +28 133
>Evan_Chester: ACCLOTT A12 .ACT +18 136
#note Didn't know B10 CLOOT or A8 COACT. TACT is the next best equity play
>Cameron_Siegal: EILR C10 IL.ER +25 158
>Evan_Chester: ??CLOQT -Q +0 136
#note This is one of the strangest positions I've encountered in a Scrabble game. Pulling Q?? on a 3 tile pull is absurd. Exchanging Just the Q gives me a bingo hooking SILEX with 14/26 letters (whether or not I find the word is a different question), and sometimes I can bingo elsewhere. It might be better to exchange more than the Q, even though CLOT works decent together. Exchanging 1 is gonna make my opponent play more defensively than a larger exchange. I also am limited in my word knowledge so maybe I should try and grab tiles that let me play within my prob range. Genuinely curious how others would handle a position like this.
>Cameron_Siegal: EIV 6B VEI. +15 173
>Evan_Chester: ??CLOPT C3 COP. +16 152
#note The only bingo available is J7 sPLOTCh, which I missed. This play sets up a new lines for myself but doesn't score that great. The best nonbingo is definitely B11 POCO but I never noticed that spot. Curious how an expert would weigh POCO vs sPLOTCh
>Cameron_Siegal: DEIISTV 2A VISITED +85 258
>Evan_Chester: ??EEILT 1D LEnIEnT +77 229
#note 1 of 4 77 point options. Shoutout to 14A CaRTELIzE/CaRTELIsE
>Cameron_Siegal: HOP 4A HO.P +26 284
>Evan_Chester: GNRRSSU J1 .RUGS +16 245
#note Best equity play. Dunno if it's the right time to open yet
>Cameron_Siegal: EEZ 4J .EEZ +28 312
>Evan_Chester: AAIINRS M2 NA.I +26 271
#note I didn't realize AINS was 0.8 better than AIRS. I think AIRS is fine though since there are more Ns than Rs unseen to me, and IZAR is a bit harder to overlap without an E, and Cam is likely to have another after GEEZ
>Cameron_Siegal: EWY N1 YEW +27 339
>Evan_Chester: ADJORST O2 TAJ +27 298
#note 2nd. Did not see L1 JADE. That play also keeps the O column open when I need it for bingo threats
>Cameron_Siegal: KO 14A .O.K +20 359
>Evan_Chester: BDOQRRS -BQRR +0 298
#note I need to study exchange values
>Cameron_Siegal: AIMNR 15D INARM +31 390
>Evan_Chester: ADEOSTU B1 O. +2 300
#note This is so awful. Scores literally nothing and at this point I can't win without bingoing and catching him with the Q. The best option according to champ is 8A DUOMI. Scores 24 and I assume this wins if I can bingo and the Q can't be offloaded.
>Cameron_Siegal: IQS I13 QIS +30 420
>Evan_Chester: ABDESTU N5 SUBDATE +66 366
>Evan_Chester: ABDESTU -- -66 300
#note I could have sworn this was a word. Doesn't win anyways but I was genuinely confident in this. Oh well
>Cameron_Siegal: NNORRY 14I .RONY +10 430
#note Best endgame play for Cameron
>Evan_Chester: ABDESTU 13K DEBUT +35 335
#note Best
#note Lesson from this game is to exchange better. Both my exchanges were flawed in different ways. The first one gave my opponent too much information and led to me putting myself in a bind of trying to find bingos I haven't studied (which is a weakness of mine). The second one was just really poorly evaluated in terms of which racks synergized the best.
