>J: DEGILOS 8G DOG +10 10
#note Maybe just GO?
>Mack_Meller: LORSTUY I7 U.LY +10 10
#note M: Definitely not best on equity, but I like restricting his options after a short play like DOG. My main other consideration was RULY/DOGY setting up TRULY, but didn't love floating an R in the 2*2 line.
>J: AEILQSY G6 QA.I +16 26
#note Holding on to the A with QI is a smidge better
>Mack_Meller: AEOPRST 10A PROTEAS +78 88
>J: AEGLOSY A8 GA.Y +30 56
#note GY(P)O!
>Mack_Meller: ILMNOTW 11C MOWN +36 124
>J: EELOPST 12D PET +29 85
#note Darn LEPTOS(OM)E
>Mack_Meller: EIILRTV 13A LIVER +29 153
#note M: Saw 13C VIRILE for 8 more, but with the Z out for big plays at H12 and also opening such an easy bingo line on a difficult board with a lead I'm fine with this. If he bingoes after LIVER it's very likely to be on row 14 or column J, either of which will score little and give me significant counterplay. LIVER over VILER so plays from A13, which he'll likely make soon to open, will score less.
>J: CEGLOOS A13 .OC +15 100
#note Definitely either this or (L)OG in the same spot
>Mack_Meller: AADIOST 15A .ODA +8 161
#note M: No good options here (no way I'm doing YA/ADO for 5 more at this score), so took the opportunity to block the line he just created.
>J: AAEGLOS J10 AGO +13 113
>Mack_Meller: AIMNSTT J2 MATTINS +75 236
#note M: Saw (DOG)MATIST! This is obviously better though.
>J: ADEILNS 13H DENIALS +73 186
>Mack_Meller: ?DEEHII H11 HI.ED +33 269
>J: AEORVXZ 12L ZA +46 232
#note I saw 12J (O)OZE, but I thought keeping some of the better tiles together and not trying to rush to the end of the game was better. Sim disagrees and just likes the extra points.
>Mack_Meller: ?BEIJOR 14F JO. +26 295
#note M: Thought about I1 JOB, but was slightly worried he might bingo from the D and I might not be able to bingo back. With blank in hand I like keeping 2 lines open so if he hits one I can hit the other.
>J: EFNORVX 4G VOR.EX +34 266
#note Hated this, but it was really the only palateable play I saw.
>Mack_Meller: ?BBCEIR B3 CRaBBIE. +74 369
>J: EEFFINU 3L EFF +27 293
#note Considered 2J (M)UFFIN but thought that leaving the M open would give more space to potentially bingo.
>Mack_Meller: ?ALNRTW N3 .LAW +18 387
#note M: Very smart play by James at this score even without the S or blank. I figured since I leave 7 in the bag and go up almost 100 after this play, I should outrun stuff like O5 HENRIES pretty easily, whereas I was less eager to leave stuff like TUSKIER/EFFS for 100+ available if I ignored this spot completely.
>J: EIKNNSU O5 NEUK +31 324
#note O6 ENNUI is the only play that gives decent winning chances. Maybe I'm setting up my K, or I can hit something really specific?
>Mack_Meller: ?EEINRT 15G E. +5 392
#note M: Obviously I should just bingo with DETaINER, but here's where I decide to have some fun since this game doesn't matter (James had a bye so this was just a casual game). I'm fishing for one of the two I's for INTERvI(EWER) as an 11. I played the E down here to at least block stuff like DISHERIT that could outrun me, whereas I'll always beat stuff like INTERIMS through the M after this.
>J: HIINRST 7B .I +5 329
#note Quackle says this and K10 HI both win about 22% of the time. There are legitimtate bingos I can draw, I just don't think I can hit two different bingos
>Mack_Meller: ?EEINRT 5B .E +1 393
#note M: Lol. Again obviously just bingo down column D, but I try for INTERvIEWER one more time. Note that I have to block RUNTISH/BIS if I draw a U (which happened), and aE for 1 is the only way to do that while playing an E!
>J: HINRSTU 3B .HURN +20 349
#note There's better stuff, but better to save mental energy for when I need it
>Mack_Meller: ?EINRTU M5 cENTURI.. +68 461
#note M: Don't hit my 11, but at least I get a 9.
>Mack_Meller: (IST) +6 467
