>Dustin_Dean: CEFOORS H4 FORCE +28 28
#note Playing COOF at 8H is best, scoring 18 and keeping ERS.
>Kaia: DEIW 9F WIDE +22 22
>Dustin_Dean: AEIOSUV 4H .AUVE +22 50
#note best
>Kaia: AIRW J6 WAIR +24 46
>Dustin_Dean: AINOQSS M2 QIS +36 86
>Dustin_Dean: AIINOOS (challenge) +5 91
#note best
>Kaia: JMO 5E MOJ. +26 72
>Dustin_Dean: AIINOOS N1 OI +26 117
#note OI is second to N2 IO for 2 more.
>Kaia: AEKNS O1 SNAKE +60 132
>Dustin_Dean: ADINOSV 6C VOID +23 140
#note best
>Kaia: IY C5 I.Y +13 145
>Dustin_Dean: AENORST L4 .ARSTONE +59 199
#note Overlapping IVY is best (NY is valid in Collins), with B1 TREASON for 86, followed by B4 ATONERS and B5 SANTERO, both for 79. Missing the IVY spot, 10A TREASON for 70, N5 ATONERS for 63, and (E)ARSTONE for 59 are the next three options. TREASON puts the T in the triple lane, and ATONERS puts N at N8, so I opted for (E)ARSTONE, hoping she doesn't have one of the unseen blanks or case S to hit the 2W spot.
>Kaia: EEILNST 12F LENITES +84 229
#note Unfortunately, she had the S. However, had I played 10A TREASON for 70, she would have had EN(T)ITLES for 131. Furthermore, had I played N5 ATONERS for 63, it would have turned out a litter better, but she would still get 66 for LITENES(S) or SETLINE(s).
>Dustin_Dean: EGLNOPU 11G PUG +15 214
#note Best is B2 PENGO for 34. H11 U(N)PEG for 24 is another option. I considered playing LUNGE at 10B or 11B, setting up a P(LUNGE) play in the triple lane.
>Kaia: ?DINORT 13A DIaTRON +74 303
>Dustin_Dean: AABELNO N5 ABALONE +69 283
#note Only bingo, but the best placement parallels IVY for 21 more points.
>Kaia: AADEH O7 AAHED +45 348
>Dustin_Dean: EEFLNYZ A8 FLEYE. +42 325
#note best, underscored by 6
>Kaia: BGHOU D8 BOUGH. +30 378
#note underscored by 2
>Dustin_Dean: CELNRXZ K11 Z.N +46 371
#note B10 XER(I)C or XEN(I)C for 92. Z(E)N is the next-best NWL option. Z(E)L for the same score keeps the N, preserving the 45-point (REN)FORCED for next play.
>Kaia: MU E10 MU +18 396
>Dustin_Dean: CEILRRX 14E EX +53 424
#note B10 X(E)RIC for 92
>Kaia: ?AGPTTT 4D TAP +21 417
>Dustin_Dean: CILRR D1 CRI. +9 433
#note Before she played TAP, I had planned on playing C(A)RL at C12 for 12, then going out with (MI)RI for 10, or RI(A) for 4. But after TAP blocked (MI)RI, I would only have RI(A) after C(A)RL, which presumably she would block with I3 G(A)s for 18, and I'd be toast [I did not see the Collins-only RI(T) as a second winning out option]. I could have just played C(A)R in the same spot, which wins 100%, as I can then go out with either LIR(A) or (T)IRL. C12 C(a)RR for 12 is the best play, after which her best play is G(A)s for 18 (keeping TT), and I can go out for the win in 4 places.
>Kaia: ?GTT B2 GeTT +10 427
>Kaia: ?GTT -- -10 417
#note Blocking my only out of (GI)RL with (GI)G wins 100%. After (GI)G, I need to block at C13 with either (a)R or (a)L, otherwise she has 14D s(EX)T / (BOUGHT)s for 28. If I block, she goes out with 14H TaT, winning by 1, 435-434. She also wins 100% by blocking with (GI)T. Playing s(EX)T now results in a tie.
>Dustin_Dean: LR I11 ..RL +6 439
#note best, only out
>Dustin_Dean: (GTT?) +8 447
#note players agreed to 441-415
